The key to a content life.
Relaxation is such a simple common sense way to happy & healthy living. The benefits of being able to induce the “relaxation response” in our own body can help us thrive is a busy world, and cope better in tough situations.
Every one of us has the ability to relax ourselves and it’s benefits are numerous. Medical Doctors and Therapists use such techniques. When used regularly they reduce anxiety, prevent cumulative stress, increase energy, improve concentration, reduce some physical problems, and even increase self-confidence. Yet relaxation is rarely something that’s practiced and perfected.
Deep relaxation, like yoga & meditation, not only relieves stress and anxiety, but also is shown to improve mood. Deep relaxation has many other potential benefits as well—it can decrease blood pressure, relieve pain, and improve your immune and cardiovascular systems.
While there are no specific guidelines for how much relaxation to add to your lifestyle, making time to unwind and enjoy life is an important part of maintaining good health.
